3 NAME OF THE DATA FILE: 

Pro Ski Center Oy’s customer data file based on customer relationship and relevant connection

 

4 THE PURPOSE FOR PROCESSING THE PERSONAL DATA:

The purpose for processing the personal data is to manage the customer relationship and the relationship based on relevant connection.

The personal data can also be processed for purposes of consumer and market research and analysis, provision of marketing and educational information relating to Pro Ski Center Oy’s products and services as well as processing of orders, and for general administrative purposes.

 

5 CONTENT OF THE DATA FILE:

The data file contains the following data necessary for the purpose of processing:

Basic information, such as

  • full name
  • contact information (address, email address, telephone number)

 

Data relating to the customer relationship between the controller and the data subject and to the relevant connection, such as

  • data on products and services (e.g. order and delivery information and delivery times)
  • data related to the used payment method (e.g. billing information),  
  • data on complaints, feedback, and other customer service including communication between the parties and telephone recordings
  • data on warranty information
  • data on direct marketing prohibitions and permits
  • data on marketing directed to data subject

 

6 REGULAR SOURCES OF INFORMATION:

Personal data is collected from the data subject, for example in connection with obtaining a marketing permit or in connection with orders. Personal data can be collected and updated also from companies and authorities that provide personal data relating services.

 

7 REGULAR DESTINATIONS OF DISCLOSED DATA:

There are no outside recipients of data subjects' personal data.

As a rule, the data is not transferred to countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area, unless it is necessary to carry out an assignment given by the data subject or in order to perform a contract between the data subject and the controller or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject before entering into a contract, in which case Pro Ski Center Oy shall comply with relevant data protection legislation valid at the time.

 

8 THE PRINCIPLES HOW THE DATA FILE iIS SECURED:

The data is collected into databases which are secured and protected by a firewall and a password, as well as other technical measures. The hardware of the controller and its subcontractors are located in premises that are locked and monitored, and the data file is accessible only by certain pre-defined persons with separately defined access rights.

 

9 THE RIGHT OF INSPECTION:

Under the Personal Data Act the data subject has the right to check what his/her personal data is stored in the personal data file. A request for inspection can be submitted free of charge once a year (12 months). The request for inspection shall be in writing and signed, and it shall be sent to the contact person specified above.

 

10 THE RIGHT TO DEMAND CORRECTION:

The data subject has the right to request rectification of incorrect information. The request for rectification shall be sent to the contact person specified above.

 

11 OTHER RIGHTS IN CONNECTION TO PROCESSING THE PERSONAL DATA:

The data subject has the right to refuse the processing of his/her personal data for purposes of direct advertising, telemarketing and other direct marketing, market research and public opinion surveys. The refusal can be made by email to info(at)alpinebrandstore.com.
